Is the daily stress of never feeling like you've done a good enough job getting you down?
Do you feel trapped in a role that you no longer love?
Are you newly qualified and wondering if you have made a BIG mistake!
Are you managing others but losing the will to live in the process?
The Nurses Coach is here to help healthcare workers to do the job they love, with less stress and more joy. To help nurses feel fully equipped to do their work, to have exciting and fulfilling careers, and ultimately, to carry on making a difference to others without sacrificing themselves along the way.
Our courses and coaching programmes are designed by nurses, for nurses. We get how busy you are because we’ve been there! None of our sessions are too long so you can manage to fit them into your busy schedule.
Our coaching support helps you put what you’ve learnt into practice, thus making a big difference to you, your team, and your patients.
Whether you’re seeking a new career direction, more work/life balance, or support as you enter a new role, having a coach and mentor by your side can give you the confidence to try something new. Look out for my group coaching programmes that will support you through making a change.
Learning coaching skills is the key to unlocking others potential. This course is for any nurse in a management role, whether you manage 2 or 200 members of staff. Adding coaching skills to your communication tool belt will help you make even more of a difference to your patients, your teams and, most importantly, yourself.
Sessions for teams who are feeling disconnected and disengaged to help build relationships, resilience and new ways of working that supports and motivates everyone. Working together we can create teams that operate in psychological safety which improves patient safety and satisfaction. This package includes personal coaching for team leaders so that change is sustainable.

With 30 years of nursing experience I get what it takes to look after others. As a professional people pleaser who is constantly striving to improve myself, others and the systems we work in I know how it feels to get burnt out, disillusioned and exhausted with it all. Through personal development and coaching I found a way to recover, fall in love with my job again and find new career opportunities to excite and delight me.
Learning coaching skills was my saving grace and I am passionate that the more nurses can be supported to coach others, the better our profession will become.
I know that often our profession becomes our identity and it can sometimes be hard to remember who we are behind the professional badges we wear. I wear many hats but most importantly I am a caring mum to 2 girls, a loving (most of the time!) wife, a supportive friend and someone who loves nothing better than a walk with the dog in the hills, a glass of wine in a pub, a good book and a good laugh!
Helping me create courses and deliver coaching and training to my clients is a well vetted, specially selected team of coaches. Many of them have either worked in healthcare or have experience of training and coaching in healthcare. All of them are trained to a high standard and accredited with a recognised professional coaching association. We are all committed to the delivery of high quality programmes and coaching to help you and your teams be the best you can be.
“Over the past few weeks myself and my team have been having coaching which has proved to be really effective in team building and bringing a new team together whilst learning the coaching techniques to use with our clients and each other."

Schwartz Rounds are a safe space to come together and share stories of what it is like to be human behind our professional masks. The job of nursing is unique. You are in a position where you may witness hope and despair, joy and grief, all in the same day. Emotionally it can be rewarding but ultimately exhausting if you do not take time to process and think about the stories you carry with you. Schwartz round offers a space to do just that and in doing so can reconnect you with the importance of those small acts of kindness in your day to day work that can mean so much. I am proud to be able to contribute to the development of Schwartz Rounds across health and social care through my work as a trainer and mentor for The Point Of Care Foundation.
